A woman in Boston was fired from her job after she was caught tearing down posters of Israeli hostages at a mall earlier this week, the Boston Herald reports.
Similarly, in Miami, dentist Ahmed Elkoussa faced dismissal after a video emerged showing him removing posters. ElKoussa has since defended his actions and stated that her took down the signs due to concerns about rising tensions.
Who is Hala Al Shami?
New York University student Hala Al Shami recently came under scrutiny after she was caught on camera tearing down posters of kidnapped Israelis in various parts of New York City. Al Shami’s involvement in this incident drew attention to his background and experiences in media and communications.
