Who is Isaac Walker Dalto?

Renowned Black Lives Matter (BLM) activist Isaac Walker Dalto made headlines lately at Baltimore’s Penn Station when he was seen on video demolishing posters regarding Israeli kidnappings. This action has cast question on Dalto’s advocacy and history.

Due to his prior participation in the Black Lives Matter movement, Isaac Dalto gained notoriety in the social justice community. Nonetheless, it is important to note that he has previously been charged with felonies related to rioting, indicating that he was involved in civil disturbance.

Public records also show that Dalto was connected to incidents of violence and theft. Because of his prior involvements, his present actions are more intricate.

However, the first of three rallies was organized on Monday by the well-known Muslim civil rights and advocacy group, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). Demanding a ceasefire in Gaza is the main objective of these rallies, since the number of Palestinian deaths has risen to over 8,000, as reported by the Gaza Health Ministry.

After the violent organization Hamas invaded Israel, over two hundred people were kidnapped and over a thousand Israelis lost their lives. The confrontation in the Gaza area started with this incident. These acts have caused indignation and worry on a global scale.

A CAIR demonstrator named Mohamad Habehh summed up the general feeling when he said, “The amount of bloodshed that is going on, the amount of innocent people being killed, is unfathomable.”

On Monday, CAIR staged a demonstration in front of Senator Ben Cardin’s Rockville, Maryland, office, calling on him to take action to put an end to the violence in the area.

There will be protests outside the offices of Representative John Sarbanes in Columbia, Maryland, on Tuesday, October 31, at 4 p.m., and Representative Kweisi Mfume in Catonsville, Maryland, on Thursday, November 2, at 6 p.m.

The Gaza Strip situation continues to be of concern for advocacy organizations working for a settlement to the current conflict, even as discussions over Isaac Walker Dalto’s actions continue.
