When 42-year-old Alyson Cranick turned herself in to police on Tuesday, she was charged with two charges of first-degree sexual assault, three counts of endangering the welfare of a kid, and damaging children’s morals, according to WFSB.
According to the site, the married mother of two was previously let go from her position as an administrative assistant at E.O. Smith High School in Mansfield after it was alleged that she had many sexual encounters with the child when he was just 11 or 12.
According to an arrest warrant that WFSB was able to acquire, the youngster “snuck out of his house on at least 14 occasions during the overnight hours to meet with Cranick” over a period of two months.

42 is Alyson Cranick’s age. After working as a paraprofessional in the Columbia school system, she was confirmed by school officials to be an administrative assistant at E.O. Smith High School in Mansfield. After the state’s inquiry was completed, her job at the high school was terminated.
She is charged with two first-degree sexual assault offenses and three counts of endangering the welfare of a child. In 2022, the kid was between the ages of 11 and 12 when the claimed sexual encounter happened over the course of two months. September 2023 saw the first reporting of the incident.

The youngster told police that he and Cranick had intercourse in her automobile while she was a student at Horace Porter School, which educates pre-K through eighth graders. He said that he had seen Cranick that evening at least fourteen times in covert from his home. Tuesday, Cranick made her court appearance in Rockville Court after her surrender.
According to the arrest warrant, the victim disclosed that he and Cranick communicated over iMessage and Snapchat. Authorities found hundreds of flirtatious and sexual texts between Cranick and the kid. Additionally, according to the warrant, Cranick had crafted the child a bracelet that said, “BFFLWB,” which is an acronym for “Best Friends for Life With Benefits.”

The youngster informed the police that Cranick would either wait for him throughout the night by “walking up to his house or hiding behind a shrub on a neighbor’s property.” Cranick claimed to have downplayed any unlawful explanation for conversing with the boy throughout her police interview, and she denied having intercourse with him. She said that due of concerns about family issues, her contacts with the youngster were restricted to offering comfort.
