In advance of their game against the Cowboys, the Los Angeles Rams have significantly altered their special teams.
Head coach Sean McVay has stated that recently signed kicker Lucas Havrisik will make his NFL regular-season debut. Additionally, right tackle Rob Havenstein’s calf injury could prevent him from playing, which would allow backup Joe Noteboom to get the start.

Aaron Donald, a defensive lineman for the Los Angeles Rams, is amenable to the Rams expanding their squad via trades while maintaining his attention on the game. However, the team has some pressing issues that need to be addressed, including as containing Dallas’ pass rush and ensuring that big plays downfield are reviewed.

Who is Lucas Havrisik?

As an American football placekicker, Lucas Havrisik is now a member of the Los Angeles Rams football club. At Norco High School, where he began playing football, he excelled as a punter and kicker and won the 2017 All-CIF Southern Section Special Teams Player of the Year award.

Background & Career

In 2018, Havrisik pledged allegiance to the Arizona Wildcats. After receiving a redshirt in his first year, he played placekicker and kickoff specialist for the following four seasons. It’s interesting to note that he established the record for the longest field goal made at Arizona, scoring twice from 57 yards. He received honorable mention status on the Pac-12 team in 2020 and 2021.

After finishing his collegiate career, he signed a free agency contract with the Indianapolis Colts in 2022. However, he was removed from the Colts practice squad in September of that same year.

After that, in November 2022, he joined with the Cleveland Browns practice squad. Two games later, he was elevated to the active roster. In March 2023, Havrisik at last signed a contract with the Los Angeles Rams.
