Soon after many emergency calls reporting shooting and people fleeing the premises, officers arrived at the scene.
When the incident occurred, everyone who had been harmed was present at the house party located at 810 Ferndale Road. Two people, aged 17 and 18, were found deceased inside the house, and two more were taken straight to the hospital. The ages of the other victims are fourteen to nineteen.
“Several persons left the scene in cars and on foot, according to witness statements,” Mansfield Police officials said. Partygoers were unable to provide a thorough description of any automobiles or the suspect or suspects.
Lieutenant Robert J. Skropits appealed to the public for assistance in identifying the perpetrators of these horrible atrocities.
