The police said that the suspect followed celebrities who flaunt their riches on social media home so he could steal from them. MTV personality Sam Logan was targeted at gunpoint inside his Miami Beach mansion.
After spending the night at the exclusive Sushi Bichi restaurant, Logan, 32, and his buddies went back to their newly acquired $13 million property. On Thursday, Local10.com stated that suspect Diego Sebastiani Estrada was waiting for them inside the house with a revolver.
Suspect Arrested
After the party left the restaurant, Estrada, 24, is accused of holding one of Logan’s pals at gunpoint in an upstairs bedroom and demanding that the unidentified victim give up his $40k Rolex watch.
After taking off with the Rolex, the armed suspect reportedly went downstairs and, according to the site, stole a gold chain from another victim before making his getaway in a Range Rover belonging to a different member of the party.
About 24 hours after the crime, Miami Beach police tracked down and arrested Estrada at a Holiday Inn using the GPS device in the car.
A representative for Miami Beach Police, Christopher Bess, advised the outlet to exercise caution in what they publish on social media and with who they follow and who they follow.
Police suspect the “Siesta Key” singer and his companions were targeted because they had been sharing pictures of their lavish night out online and flaunting their pricey watches and jewelry.
According to Bess, “the subject knew exactly who he was looking for and what he was looking for as well.”
The Post has learnt that the reality star paid cash for the 5,600-square-foot, six bedrooms, six and a half bathrooms property on Miami Beach in September.
Estrada was charged
Estrada was accused of many charges, including grand theft auto and home invasion with a handgun.

According to TMZ, Logan and his castmates Brandon Gomes and Jordana Barnes had a different kind of house invasion at Logan’s former residence in January, which included two armed guys.
The guys insisted that Gomes turn in his watch as soon as they entered via a sliding glass door. The site claims that when he refused and attempted to flee, the guys grabbed him and smacked him in the head with the revolver.
Logan’s $80,000 Audemars Piguet watch was discovered and taken by the burglars, but Gomes refused to give up his watch.
Awoken by screams, Logan, who had been sleeping upstairs throughout the heist, allegedly locked himself in his room with castmate Mike Vazquez.It is also said that the armed guys from the January home invasion demanded the victims’ phones and held them at gunpoint.
Gomes was only slightly hurt by the pistol-whipping, but he refused medical attention. Star offered a $10,000 prize for information leading to the identity of the home invasion criminals from January.
