It seems like Rasul Douglas will be traveling to Buffalo. Just before the NFL trade deadline, the Packers consummated a transaction that sent Douglas to the Bills, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

The Eagles selected 28-year-old player Douglas in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft. Since then, before joining the Packers, he played for the Panthers, Raiders, Texans, and Cardinals. Douglas has started every one of the seven games this season.

This move serves as more evidence that the Packers see this season as a time of rebuilding in Green Bay. It’s obvious that they don’t have great hopes for this season and would rather acquire draft selections than hold onto an experienced player.

Conversely, the Bills’ addition of Douglas to the roster improves their secondary depth, which is essential for a team hoping to win the Super Bowl.

Who is Rasul Douglas?

American football cornerback Rasul Douglas has gained recognition in the National Football League (NFL). Douglas, who was born in East Orange, New Jersey, on August 17, 1995, has become well-known for his athleticism, diligence, and passion for the game.

Douglas played collegiate football at West Virginia University after attending Nassau Community College. He became a great cornerback at West Virginia, with superb ball skills and an accurate read of plays. With eight interceptions in his last season, Douglas established himself as a playmaking defender.

The Philadelphia Eagles picked Douglas in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft (99th overall). During his first year, he started five games and had a major effect on the Eagles’ Super Bowl LII triumph. A pivotal point in their run for the title was his interception in the NFC title game.

Following his tenure with the Eagles, Douglas has played for the Green Bay Packers, Carolina Panthers, and Las Vegas Raiders, among other NFL teams. His muscular play style, adept covering abilities, and adaptability to various defensive tactics are well-known attributes.
