Bodycam video revealed the tragic moment a woman went near her unconscious and vomit-covered baby son who was being taken to an ambulance.

On February 3, 2021, Charlie Cronmiller was discovered in the Little Lovey daycare in Dunwoody, Georgia, which is 20 miles outside of Atlanta, having been asleep for two hours.

Stephanie Cronmiller was seen sprinting toward her infant, who was in the ambulance getting CPR, on police bodycam video.

“Ma’am, get in the ambulance; they’re about to leave.” Mom is here.

“Join them in the ambulance,” one officer said.

The mother hurried toward the car while sporting a face mask as soon as she was given the go-ahead.

Investigation

According to investigators, the baby, who passed away in October 2021, was napping on his stomach, which is against age-appropriate medical advice.

According to 11 Alive, surveillance video revealed Charlie was left alone for a few hours.

Daycare owner Amanda Harris Hickey, 48, entered a guilty plea to one crime of second-degree child cruelty, seven charges of reckless conduct, three counts of violence, and even instances of first-degree child abuse last month.

She was given a 30-year jail term and a five-year probationary period on Friday.

In another instance, Hickey grabbed a 14-month-old by the hair to persuade him to lie down, and she also held a seven-month-old by the leg before letting go, which made him smack his face, according to 11 Alive.

According to WGXA, Hickey said in court, “I know that there is nothing I can say in words to take away their pain, except take responsibility and express extreme sorrow for what I’ve done.”According to Stephanie, Hickey “only regrets that she got caught” and did not exhibit “remorse,” the publication added.

The mother said, “I concentrate on forgiving myself because I chose her.”

Following her release from jail, Hickey will not be permitted to speak with the victims or spend time with any kid under the age of 13.
