Law enforcement officials issued a notice late Wednesday identifying the suspect as 40-year-old Robert Card, although the suspect has not yet been identified. As of 10:45 p.m., the man remains at large. He is suspected of being responsible for at least 22 deaths and 50-60 injuries at Sparetime Recreation, a bowling alley, and Schemengees Bar and Grille, a restaurant.

This information was obtained through the state police bulletin. Following Wednesday night’s horrific shootings that killed at least 16 people, law enforcement officials obtained the police intelligence bulletin, which The Associated Press reviewed.

According to the newspaper, Card was receiving firearms training at the Maine-based U.S. Army Reserve Training Center. It is also alleged that Card spent two weeks in a mental health facility in the summer of 2023. However, no definitive information was given about his condition or treatment process. The warning also states that Card threatened to open fire on a military training base in Saco, Maine, and claimed he heard voices.

Police are currently searching for Card as a person of interest in Wednesday’s shooting. It turned out that the publicly published phone number of the card could not be reached.

According to Lewiston Police’s Facebook post, Card is a person of interest in the shooting and also emphasized that the possibility of him being in possession of a gun should be taken into consideration.
