A recreation center educator in New Jersey was arrested after being accused of physically abusing a student from the age of 14 to his senior year of middle school.
She stood out as Miss Lydia Pinto.
Who is Lydia Pinto?
Lydia Pinto is 38 years old. She was the field hockey and junior women’s lacrosse coach at Bridgewater-Raritan Middle School.

He had been accused of rape after a previous substitute claimed he had a long-term sexual relationship. The Bridgewater Police Department received an email from a previous bench player who assured him that Pinto had been physically abusive towards him since he was fourteen years old.
After a lengthy investigation, Pinto was arrested by police in Franklin, New Jersey, on November 8. Somerset County Superintendent John P. McDonald stated the previous week: “The accident revealed that he had been having an affair with the previous educator, Lydia Pinto.”
He is charged with two counts of second-degree rape and first-degree harassing rape. An unknown email alerted the Bridgewater police department’s sex violations and child abuse unit to Pinto’s alleged rape, prompting them to take action.
The email contained clear data about Pinto and the understudy’s ill-advised four-year sexual relationship. The individual in question, a former Bridgewater-Raritan Middle School student and now an adult, was immediately identified and contacted by criminal investigators from the Somerset County Supervisor’s Office’s Sex Violations and Child Exploitation Unit. Casualty alleged that each of the sexual assaults occurred while he was in middle school in Raritan County.
In the spring, he worked with other driver education instructors to coordinate a protected driving system that showed kids street health, according to the school’s web-based entertainment post. He withdrew the extraordinarily respected state-supported school at an unspecified time, but as of Wednesday his name was not in the staff catalogue.
Following his capture, Pinto was sent to Somerset County Jail. He was released seven days later, on November 15, as prison officials noted, as his upcoming trial approached, Fox News Computerized reported.
