In a recent incident in New York’s Westchester County, 47-year-old Elmsford resident Hani Saleh was arrested for illegally possessing a loaded semiautomatic weapon after authorities stopped his car decorated with anti-Israel messages and swastikas. .

According to the criminal complaint, Saleh told police he was “trying to educate the public about the real events taking place in the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas.”

Prosecutors alleged that a semi-automatic firearm loaded with ten rounds of .40-caliber ammunition was found under the driver’s seat of his car.

Hateful messages on his Volkswagen Passat included a Star of David and a swastika intertwined and an American flag with a white Nazi symbol where 50 stars should be, according to photos in the complaint provided by the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office.
